At JTH Dog Training, our puppy training focuses on teaching you the building blocks you need to transform your puppy into a well-mannered and welcome addition to your family. Together, we will teach your puppy skills like, appropriate chew habits, potty manners, quiet/sleep habits, and all-around great house manners, while building an unbreakable bond between you and your furry companion.
Foster Dogs
Foster care is one of the most important steps in a rescue dog's successful transition to their forever home. To support the care you are providing and to accelerate placement in their new home, JTH Dog Training offers basic obedience, house manners, and socialization training, while helping foster pups overcome the unique challenges that rescues may experience. Each training plan is developed to address the specific needs of your individual foster. We appreciate foster families and are here to support you!
Rescue Dogs
Giving a pup of any age a second chance at a forever home is a heartwarming experience. It can also be a challenging undertaking. At JTH Dog Training, our rescue training focuses on establishing a foundation of mutual respect while being mindful of the pup’s history. You will learn how to set expectations, use positive reinforcement techniques to establish basic obedience, and activate the dog’s natural instincts to make appropriate choices. We will work together to develop a training plan to address the specific needs of your rescue.
Children & Dogs
Like peanut butter and jelly, kids and dogs make a great combination! At JTH Dog Training we love working with the young members of the family along with their parents. We can show kiddos and their parents how to develop basic obedience, house manners, guest manners and tricks of the trade in their furry friends. We design training plans that are fun and flow with the way kiddos and puppies learn.
Senior Learners
Adding a furry friend to your life at every age is a rewarding experience. For the senior pup owner, unwanted or out-of-control behaviors in their new companion can be an exceptional challenge. At JTH Dog Training our focus is on teaching owners easy, efficient and effective training techniques that will help you show your new buddy how to be a well-mannered member of your family,
